frequently asked QUESTIONS
What to expect in a documentary photo session?
Your session can take place wherever you feel like yourselves. The most important thing is that you are comfortable. I want you and your family to feel free to be just as you are. I come into your routine as a friend who happens to carry a camera. I try to enjoy the moment with you.
What is the difference between having a 12, 6, or 4 hour session?
The handling of the documentary session will be the same, however the longer we are in the session, the more truly a day in the life of your family will be documented. Taking a 12 hour session will reflect exactly how a day in your life is.
If we focused in 6 hour o 4 hour session we can define to shoot the most important activities that reflect your life in a common day.
What is the importance of the Pre-session Consultation?
In this session we get to know each other before.
I learn everything I can about you and your family, your routines, hobbies, loves, that secret handshake your kids have…. Everything. I try to get to know the real you, so I can tell your story in an authentic way.
In the day of the session what do we have to wear?
My advice for the family is to wear something comfortable , it is important that you feel as you are always in your routine day. Just feel YOU!!
How does it all works?
After the session we can schedule an appointment that will take place 3 weeks after the session.
When your photographs are ready, I will come to your home so we can view your gallery in a slideshow and we also see the gallery of photos. Together we relive the joy you’re.
Looking at the gallery there are 2 ways to select the photos: We can select your favorites images for your photobook and create a true piece of art together in that meeting.
Or After our meeting I can give you 3 days to select your photos and then I will create the artbook.
After I made the design of the book it will be ready in 2-3 weeks.
What is newborn session?
A new story is coming/ Expecting mom session are the photos when baby is still growing inside you. I recommend doing the maternity photos between 28-34 weeks.
We can do these photos wherever you want, but doing them at your home will reflect in a better way the relationship between you and your family prior the arrival of the new member. Your life and routine will change forever!
What is the welcome home session?
The welcome home session is for taking photos of your new baby between 1-3 weeks old.
This is the best time to take the first weeks of the baby at home, the first baths, the first moments between siblings, the first days of adjustment in the routine.
Babies grow so quickly. This is why newborn photography can be so powerful for the family and parents.
I will capture your first real moments together.
