PERSONAL PROJECT
your ART at HOME
This series of photos was taken during the pandemic. For the first time I had the rare opportunity to truly see and enjoy my daughters ART, to watch her progress and evolve right in front of my eyes and lens at HOME.
I started taking these photographs just for me, for us, yet with time they grew and became a directed personal project.
To my daughter:
Your strength, determination and firm grip on life show me again and again that there are no limits.
The fact that you had to take your classes online for a whole year didn’t diminish your resolve. You were there every day, in front of the screen, working.
I see now how much you enjoy life through dance, with every movement, brimming with intensity, technique, passion, discipline and joy.
You are my muse in this photographic journey. Thank you, my little girl, for inspiring me to create this personal project, and thank you so much, Kirsten Lewis, for your direction, guidance, support and inspiration.
I loved doing this project so much!
